CBD Royale’s Pure CBD Relief Cream is a blend of natural ingredients that can help temporarily relieve targeted discomfort and soreness.

The skin is your body’s largest organ and provides a huge surface area to absorb cannabinoids. The stratum corneum (SC) is the top layer that forms a protective barrier to absorption into the lower skin layers.

Think of the skin as a brick and mortar structure with keratinocytes making up the bricks and lipid molecules as the mortar.

The SC has 10-30 layers of these bricks with thicker layers on the palms of your hands and bottom of your feet. The areas with the thinnest layers are the forehead, jaw, scalp and armpits.

Your skin isn’t sponge and not many things can get past it. Water is a critical component to aid absorption into the skin. Plump hydrated skins cells facilitate the uptake of therapeutic ingredients in skin creams.

So how does our relief cream differ from other topical creams?

The skin has it’s own system of cannabinoid receptors that interact with phytocannabinoids like CBD. Most CBD topicals will interact with the skin’s endocannabinoid system to help symptoms of pain and inflammation. There are limitations. Many topical creams only go skin deep.

Compounds like beeswax, shea butter, lanolin, and cocoa butter are great at keeping the skin soft and preventing dehydration, but not so great when it comes to the transport of active ingredients across the skin.

These topical creams sit on top of the skin and can offer localized relief from pain and inflammation. In contrast, our trans-dermal cream get past the SC  having a wider impact across the whole body.
